Have a barbecue, have a picnic, a block party, whatever... But don't forget to invite a soldier or marine to the festivities. I'm sure you know one or two, and you know they'd love it. And you know they deserve it. Throw it in their honor. They paid a price for our freedom, and there is no doubt they fought along side someone who paid the ultimate price. Throw it in their honor, too.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. ---Ephesians 6:12

The True Meaning Of Memorial Day (sans music)
Have a barbecue, have a picnic, a block party, whatever... But don't forget to invite a soldier or marine to the festivities. I'm sure you know one or two, and you know they'd love it. And you know they deserve it. Throw it in their honor. They paid a price for our freedom, and there is no doubt they fought along side someone who paid the ultimate price. Throw it in their honor, too.
