With hospital closings out in California and health insurance costs on the rise (along with my annual deductible), Texas has announced that illegal aliens cost that state $677 million in fiscal year 2006. And Harris County, by itself, provided $203.5 million in uncompensated care to illegals, most of whom were pregnant women (anchor babies anyone?).
